2 Months!!

Elliott is 2 months!!

When did that happen????

It has gone by SO quickly and he has changed SO much in the past 2 months.

We had his 2 month check-up and everything is great! He weighed 11 lbs. 7.4 oz and is 22 inches long! Since birth he has gained 6 lbs and grew 4 inches! That seems super human to me...imagine us at our size growing like that! INSANITY!!

Elliott also got his 2 month shots...He took it like a champ and I didn't cry! He was very sore however and ran a slight temp for the day...He had his first flavor...grape! This was from the tylenol the pediatrician told me he could have!

Elliott also had his first high fever...101.8. Scared the bejeezes out of me. Everything is well now...poor baby. He hasn't slept much by himself at night...he sleeps in my arms. Jack has also slept with us the past 3 nights. Both boys have done very well!

At 2 months, Elliott is focusing much more. He will follow me or Evan across the room as well as certain objects put in front of him. He loves to stare at lights and the big mirror over our couch. He enjoys classical music as well as "Glee". He also enjoys watching  "The Big Bang Theory". I figure thats a pretty good one to watch seeing as its all scientific. HA! His library is growing and we enjoy reading to him. "Goodnight, Moon"! is a favorite. He is becoming more vocal, and enjoys grunting. He responds to me saying ,"Ooooo!" with my eyes wide and my mouth in an "O" shape with the hugest of smiles! He also is smiling more and more with his eyes open. He can support his head very well, and enjoys tummy time when he is awake. If he is half awake  he absolutely hates it, and when he's tired he just falls asleep. He Enjoys his swing for the most part...He can "stand" when you prop him which is exciting to see. Evan and I think he will be walking before we know it. It's all going so fast! Elliott eats 6 oz. about every 4-6 hours. He eats very well now that we found our bottles and formula he likes!

Thanksgiving! Part 4

The last hours...It was such a great trip aside from me getting sick...It was so busy and I never wanted it to end...This trip officially marked the end of my pregnancy journey. My maternity leave would be finished when we got back to Grand Forks. Here are some of my favorite shots from the week!

Thanksgiving! Part 3

After my family celebrated Thanksgiving we made our way onto Gramma Jo's! This was especially exciting because the majority of Evan's family had yet to meet our little Man!!! He was sooo LOVED! Here are the first meetings!

POST THANKSGIVING:

Friday was another eventful day! Jim, Evan, Elliott and myself went and had lunch at Davannis (yum) and then went to visit Grandma Laurel's Chemo nurses over at Fairview. It was equally exciting, heartbreaking, and bitter sweet. It was great to see them, and I know it was bittersweet for them too. Unfortunately, Laurel's chemo Dr., Dr. Weinshel (spelling?), wasn't there but we will back to visit many more times. It was a very emotional time for all involved. :) Love you Grandma Laurel!

Friday Night was very fun for us! TACO Night with our friends! The honorary uncles had not yet met Baby Elliott and it was a much anticipated visit! Here are some pictures from that evening!

And then there was Saturday! Saturday I was looking forward too because it was Baby Elliott's Shower!! He was VERY excited! He got some amazing gifts and met pretty much the whole Horton side! He was busy being passed around!
